Hello…

I’m Cathy – the owner of Green Haven Farm.

I have been gardening in my current location for the past 25 years, and locally (in Media) before that. A former Environmental Engineer, I also have a background working in the nursery industry.

I am a Penn State Master Gardener and have Certificates of Merit in both Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture from Longwood Gardens. I’ve also taken numerous courses in ornamental horticulture from Longwood Gardens, Mt. Cuba Center and Penn State Extension and have volunteered at Longwood Gardens and Tyler Arboretum.

I previously operated Green Haven Farm as a small nursery specializing in pollinator friendly and native plants until I closed it in 2024.

I can’t wait to meet you and talk all about plants and pollinators!
